A newly-acquired villa overlooking the valley of the Loup with unimpeded views close to Chateauneuf de Grasse and Bar sur Loup. Gourdon is approximately 7 kilometres above the villa and is renowned for its medieval architecture and the superb Eagle’s
Nest restaurant clinging to the sheer cliffs where Para gliders delight in soaring above. The area is very rural and unspoilt and will suit those wanting a holiday away from the frenzy of the coastal resorts. The villa is situated at the end of an access driveway that serves the neighbouring linked villa, but neither infringes on
the other’s privacy.
Internally, the villa has four bedrooms: One with a standard double bed, blue and white decoration with feature mirrors on the walls, two with twin single beds, one cream and soft coral and the other tan and ecru, and the fourth with full-sized bunk beds and sunny yellow soft furnishings. All
bedrooms have fitted wardrobes with sliding doors. Family bathroom with shower over the bath and wash basin and a further separate shower room with vanity basin where the washing machine is also located. Single separate WC off the hallway.
The kitchen at the rear of the villa has fitted oak units, integrated electric oven, hob, and dishwasher. Free standing fridge/freezer and micro-wave. A doorway from kitchen leads into the dining area of the large L-shaped salon where there is a heavy wrought-iron based table with mosaic stone top
large enough for 10 people with wrought iron and wicker dining chairs with loose cream cushions, cream stressed traditional dressers, console and occasional matching furniture, TV, feature cheminée and rattan woven lounge sofa and easy chairs with coral and cream upholstery. Two French windows from the salon open onto the pool
terrace which is crazy-paved and has exterior dining furniture, sun loungers and three exterior extending blinds for shade from the Mediterranean sun.
The garden area is enclosed and there is a large shady willow tree where it is cool to sit and take in the view. Pool is enclosed with a fence for the security of smaller children and is kidney-shaped with steps and measuring approximately 9 x 4.5 metres.
To the rear of the villa is a very large covered veranda. Parking in the single garage or in the courtyard to the front of the villa.
Well recommended for a secluded family holiday within easy reach for most of the attractions of the Côte d’Azur
