Within easy walking
distance of the perched hill-top village of Cabris, Villa Mei Agradi has
an excellent position overlooking much of the superb landscape of the
Côte d’Azur. The area is quiet and rural, a perfect and peaceful setting
with the newly-built pool benefiting from the sun all day. The garden is
divided into different areas of interest, with a stone walled dining and
barbecue area to the rear, some grassed areas to the side, shrubs and
boules area to another aspect and the pool directly accessed from the
terrace extending from the farmhouse-style kitchen. Cabris village is a
pretty mixture of village houses typical of such medieval settlements
and sympathetic larger properties surrounding the village centre with
large open spaces of grassed flat land for picnics, kite-flying or even
the odd game of cricket .With local shops and numerous interesting
restaurants it is not necessary to use a car except for excursions
further afield.
Entrance to the
villa and grounds is via remote-controlled gate where there is a
courtyard parking area for 2 cars. Steps lead up to the villa so that
the ground floor is already elevated with garden on the same level.
There is a double living area, consisting of a more formal sitting room
with fireplace and a very light conservatory with triple aspect windows
overlooking the varied landscape and the pool. Also on the ground floor
is a large dining kitchen tastefully decorated in provençal blue and all
fully equipped with electric oven dishwasher, micro-wave, American
fridge/freezer and washing machine. Ground floor WC cloakroom.
There are three
bedrooms, two on the first floor and the third on the second floor. The
master bedroom has double wrought-iron four poster bed, views across the
hills to the sea in the distance and a large en suite bathroom with warm
apricot tiles. Bath, WC, basin and separate shower cubicle. The second
bedroom also has double bed and wardrobe with an adjacent shower room
and separate toilet. This would be shared with the occupants of the twin
loft bedroom with sky-light window and accessed by a wooden staircase.
Although the villa
would be suitable for 6 adults, because of the sloping ceiling in the
loft bedroom, it would make an interesting room for two children to use.
Villa Mei Agradi is a well-furnished property full of character and
ideally situated for that relaxing summer holiday without the hassle of
the coastal traffic in the height of the season and with access to the
motorway system via the Grasse Pénétrante, all major sites and sights
are within easy reach from Cabris.
