An immaculately presented villa for 6 people with all the luxury
of a home-from-home. The villa is situated just on the edge of
the village of Tourrettes sur Loup in a quiet rural setting and
it is possible to walk into the centre of Tourrettes for restaurants
and local provisions. Being the permanent home of the owners, there
has been no expense spared with furnishings and decor and it is
really not suitable for very small children.
On the ground floor there is a very spacious salon and dining
area beautifully furnished with leather sofas, occasional easy
chairs, oval marble table and salmon velour upholstered dining
chairs. TV with cable, DVD, CD and stereo. There is a feature fireplace
in the living area and patio windows open full width to the terrace
overlooking the pool and garden with its myriad of fruit trees.
Next to the living room is the kitchen, exquisitely fitted with
limed-oak units incorporating gas/electric combination hob, electric
oven, dishwasher, microwave and in the connecting utility room,
washer and fridge/freezer. Doors from the kitchen open onto the
dining verandah where there is a covered shady area and barbecue.
Off the entrance hall a doorway leads to one bedroom suite that
has a double bed and ensuite bathroom with access to the lower
terrace above the pool.. There are two further bedrooms on the
first floor, one with twin beds and an en suite shower room decorated
in coral and mint green, and the other with a blue and white ‘Wedgewood’ theme
with double bed and en suite bathroom. This bedroom has a small
terrace overlooking the garden.
Courtyard entrance to the property can house two/three cars with
electronically-controlled gates. Being at the end of a narrow lane
this villa has no passing traffic and is a peaceful haven within
walking distance of one of the most interesting Medieval villages
on the Côte d’Azur, just a short drive from Gourdon
with unrivalled views, 20 minutes from Grasse and still only about
20 minutes' drive to the beaches of Antibes, Juan les Pins and
the coast.
A real gem that cannot be faulted but with limited availability
to the high season only. Not to be missed especially for 4 adults
with maybe two older children or even three couples wanting parity
of accommodation.
