Situated in the heart of the old town of Antibes, close to the
Picasso museum, the Provençal market, beach and port, this apartment
gives the visitor to France the opportunity of staying in an
authentic three storey town house close to the vibrant centre of
Antibes. Within the ramparts of the medieval old town, there are
boutiques and innumerable restaurants all within walking distance of
the apartment and there is no need for a car when staying here.
(Parking is limited in the centre of Antibes). The sandy crescent
beach is only a 5 minute walk from the town house and both the train
station and bus station are easily accessible. The atmosphere is
always lively in Antibes and was a much sought-after town for
artists and writers such as Graham Greene. Bustling restaurants line
the walls of the old town near the arches to the old port and the
evening attracts artists and artisans selling their wares from
stalls in the open air as well as buskers and entertainers.
In
many of the town houses in Antibes, there is no exterior balcony or
terrace, but this particular property has a superb roof terrace with
views towards Salis beach, ideal for dining out, having an aperitif,
or sun-bathing.
There
is a double bedroom/sitting area on the ground level, a second twin
bedroom above with shower room and WC, and the living area and
kitchen on the upper floor from where the roof terrace is accessed.
TV and CD player. Washing machine, dishwasher, oven and fridge.
Table and chairs and sofa. Furnishings are comfortable with a
Provençal theme. All rooms have windows to the narrow street which
is a cul de sac.
A
unique property for experiencing the Côte d’Azur.
